This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've been having a look see through your deviantart activity and I am disappointed to see that you are using this art community to solicit ideas that you should really be coming up with yourself, particularly if you want an artistic course at university. Now it's fine using this place as a way of getting inspiration but it's unacceptable to actually get people to hand ideas to you when they should come from you. If you really want a course like that at uni then you should work for it else you wont deserve it. I am not telling you this to be spiteful or nasty but because I feel ashamed for you, because clearly no one has explained to you that true achievement only comes from your own hard work. You have obviously got the time to do the work as you have taken the time to actively scout out people for THEIR ideas, so maybe a better use of your time would be to develop yourself artistically, get out into the world and find your own inspiration. I honestly wish you luck for your future course but I hope that you do well because of your own talent which I'm sure you have. You will be happier when you know that you have earned it yourself
Umm yeah okay , I didnt 'copy' anyones ideas for the UCL task , I did everything on my own , the reason why i asked a few people were for some assistance , from those who had already done it and knew what UCL wanted.not full fledged stirring up of ideas that i can copy , cause i was new to the whole architecture thing , and i didnt know much and i didnt get much help at deviant , as no one really didnt know how to help me with the task . but anyway , thank you for the advice.
ok well would make sense then if you asked what the task was like rather than for ideas but sure I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Devinatart probably wont be the best place to research architecture, hope you find a better place to find out about it. I'm sure you will get into a good university with some great ideas. Dont be afraid to push the boundaries and just do whatever ideas come to you as I'm sure they will be good.
Aww, i'm sorry to hear that. It seemed like such a blow to me when I didn't get in, but having ended up going to Kent University I can honestly say I am very happy with the course despite the huge workload (I think that's the case with architecture everywhere) and I think you'll hopefully feel the same wherever you end up.
Also one of my best friend's friends from uni in London had a friend (sorry for the confusion) who ended up going to UCL to do architecture and they actually pulled out because they didn't enjoy the course and the workload was too intense. It seems that if you study architecture you will be working substantially more than any of the other courses. Do you know what you are going to do now in respect of university?
Also I read your journal entries, really good, very powerful.

Hope you're well, Iain.
